Hey guys!

Am blogging to you LIVE from Swing Out New Hampshire. Mariah and I flew Jet Blue out to Boston Logan Airport. Ro and Gina shortly joined us at our hotel, the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. Thanks to my platinum status at Marriot, we were able to chill out and have drinks at the Concierge Level Lounge. It offered a fantastic view of the Boston Harbor - new Bridge all the way down to planes landing at the airport. We could have traveled by water taxi or the "T" (Boston subway), but with our heavy bags, we opted for door-to-door service.

That night Charlie joined the ladies for a wonderful dinner at Legal Seafood. We had the famous clam chowder that the was served at the last 7 presidential inaugurations. It was very rich and filling. Mariah and I shared a 2 lbs. live Main Lobster - it was fantastic. It was a wonderful dinner, we toasted to the camp ahead of us. Wouldn't you know it? Charlie picked up the tab for the ladies. Charlie, you can be such a sweetie sometimes!! (Thank you!)

The next morning, while the ladies were asleep, I snuck out to quickly Market to have lunch with on old (boy)friend that I hadn't seen in over a decade! Bob took me through a quick walking tour and into the North End where he bought me and the ladies some yummy Italian desserts. (Thanks Bob!!) With a bittersweet goodbye, I went back and found the girls had just had their breakfast at the Concierge Lounge. We packed up and headed back up to Boston Logan Airport where we started to see a large gathering of swing dancers!

This gave everyone a chance to meet and greet folks from all over the US (mostly Northeastern folks) but also some folks from abroad, such as Chantal & Robert from the Netherlands. We packed the bottom of the bus with luggage and boarded the bus! It was about a 2 1/2 hour drive to the mountains of New Hampshire and through the city of Hebron. We stopped at a mall for a quick bite to eat. Although some people (AhemMariahAhem) saw it as a shopping opportunity!

After sitting through the last half of "Napoleon Dynamite" (thanks to Izzy), we finally made it to camp! Wow!! It was just as I imagined it and more!
